Career studios are welcoming, drop‑in spaces designed to give students quick, practical career support from their peers. No appointment needed. Stop by anytime to connect with trained Student Peer Career Coaches who are ready to help with everyday career questions and next steps.

Career coaching is an opportunity for students to seek advice and answers regarding careers, internships, graduate or professional school and transitioning from student to professional. Career coaches will help you clarify your goals, explore personal concerns and develop an individualized career plan. Students can also use career coaching to get feedback on resumes/CVs and cover letters, as well as practice interviewing skills.

Ohio State's Pre-Health and Pre-Law webpages give you details actions you can take as an undergraduate to explore and stay on track for professional school.

For professional health programs like medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, physical therapy, veterinary medicine and occupational therapy, this lasses you need to take to prepare for various health professional programs. (Law school does not require any specific undergraduate major or course work.)

In some disciplines, it is common for graduate students to earn a teaching, research or staff assistantship that covers some or all of the cost of attendance. Some graduate programs require that applicants have a specific undergraduate degree.
