What can I do to get started researching options for a new major?

There are several steps you can take to help you begin the process of exploring and selecting a new major.

Taking Stock

One of the best ways to get started is to learn how you make decisions, starting with reflecting on how you made the decision to choose your current major.

Read the questions below, or print this worksheet.

  • What factor or key points did you consider in making your decision?
  • What has changed that is facilitating the need to find a new major? What are the reasons to change majors?
