In the opening weeks of each semester, University Exploration offers drop-in advising over Zoom. During these hours, University Exploration students can drop in at any time to discuss and adjust Autumn semester schedules.

Our Zoom drop-in advising hours for Autumn 2026 are:

  • 1-3 PM on August 19-21 and 24-28
  • 9-11 AM on August 24-28

University Exploration advising appointments will help you schedule courses strategically, determine options for majors that match your goals and navigate the university's policies.

In addition to helping with those fundamentals, Exploration starts with your story, your thoughts, your experiences and your plans and provides one-on-one advising experience that we hope will enrich and direct your exploration. We want to help you discover the Ohio State community and discover your academic options and opportunities.
