Adding Autumn classes

  • After Week 2 it's too late to add a semester-long class. If looking to make a drop and concerned about being below full-time (i.e. fewer than 12 credit hours), students can either research the consequences of dropping below full-time or look at adding a Session 2 class.

  • Session 2 Classes. Selection of Session 2 classes is very limited. Just want to prepare you from that: it is possible that if you seek to add a Session 2 class you will be choosing among elective courses, not courses that will fulfill Gen Ed or major/minor requirement. You are welcome to make use of this University Exploration guide to searching Session 2 classes:

Scheduling an appointment

    • Schedule via Oncourse: Current EXP students can make virtual advising appointments via OnCourse.

    • University Exploration offers remote virtual appointments using Zoom and in-person appointments.

Drop-in with the Director

  • Director Peter Spreitzer will be hosting "Drop-In with the Director" every Friday morning from 10 AM to Noon. Zoom link:
    • A one-on-one appointment with your advisor is the way to go for an in-depth, private conversation. But if you want to drop-in with a question or a request, want to chat about classes or majors or just looking for some conversation or support, this is an informal group advising opportunity for you every Friday.
