- Mechanical Engineering (ME)
- Biomedical Engineering (BME)

For the College of Engineering's other specializations listed below, students can request to move into the associate premajors once they meet Engineering premajor criteria:
- a 2.0 Ohio State GPA in at least 12 graded Ohio State AND have MATH 1151 completed or be ready to take MATH 1151 in your first term in the pre-major.
- Note: To take MATH 1151, a student should have MATH 1148 and 1149 completed OR have MATH 1150 completed OR have math placement score “L"
When the criteria in progress (at the end of the current term, the student plans to be eligible for the pre-Engineering major), they should request to move into the premajor in Engineering using the form at the bottom of Engineering advising's Enroll in your Engineering Program page.
